Doug Bull is in his 7th season as Deer Park's District Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. He brings with him over 18 years of strength and conditioning experience ranging from High School to Division I athletics. Including coaching stops at Northern State, Fort Hays State, Illinois State, and The United States Naval Academy.
During his eight years as a collegiate strength and conditioning coach, he was a part of one National Championship and four trips to the Elite 8 at the Division II level, and a one Division I Conference Championship all in Basketball. As well as having the opportunity to work with dozens of conference champions from 11 different sports, and 40 future professional athletes.
He left the college coaching ranks to come to Texas where he would have opportunity to help a greater number of young people reach their athletic goals. Since arriving at Deer Park he has helped to change the culture of the District in regards to strength and conditioning, where they are currently working with over 750 high school athletes. He started a Summer Training Program for the Jr. High athletes and has revamped the Jr. High training programs to help ensure the development of proper movement patterns by all of our Deer Park athletes which will lead to the prevention of injuries and an increase in athletic success.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and a Master's Degree in Exercise Science. He is certified as a specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
