Bob Alejo is the Former Assistant AD/Director of Strength and Conditioning overseeing all of the strength and conditioning efforts of the department, and coordinated the day-to-day efforts of the men's basketball team.
Prior to joining the Wolfpack staff in April, Alejo served as the Director of Strength and Conditioning for the Oakland A's, a position he also held from 1993-2001. In that role, he was responsible for all aspects of the organization's year-round physical preparation at both the major league and minor league levels.
Prior to rejoining the A's, Alejo was the Director of Strength and Conditioning at UC Santa Barbara from 2005-2008. During that time he was also a member of the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team as strength and conditioning coach for the Gold medal-winning men's beach volleyball team of Todd Rogers and Phil Dalhausser. In addition was a member of the 2012 Olympic Team with the same beach volleyball duo.
From 1984-1993, Alejo served as strength and conditioning coach at UCLA where he worked with 23 men's and women's teams, including the men's basketball team while current Wolfpack head coach Mark Gottfried was an assistant coach. During his tenure in Westwood, the Bruins racked up 25 national championships and produced more than 100 All-Americans.
Prior to joining the Bruins' staff, Alejo served as strength and conditioning coach for football at his alma mater, Chico State. He earned his B.A. in physical education from Chico State in 1982 and is a member of the Wildcats' Athletic Hall of Fame after a successful baseball career.
An accomplished lecturer and author, Alejo is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (through the National Strength and Conditioning Association's Certification Commission) and holds the advanced NSCA Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach distinction. He has also been elected to three halls of fame: Chico State Athletics, Chico State Baseball (inaugural inductee) and the Chico Professional Baseball "Legends of the Diamond."

Brian is approaching nearly 20 years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach. Sixteen years of those years were spent in Professional Baseball with the Detroit Tigers and the Colorado Rockies Organizations. He served in the roles of the Major League strength and conditioning coach and Minor League strength and conditioning coordinator for the Colorado Rockies and as a Minor League strength and conditioning coach for the Detroit Tigers.
In the years before his position in professional baseball, Jordan served as a strength and conditioning coach for the University of Massachusetts Amherst and at the United States Naval Academy (1998). He had the opportunity to work with a variety of sport teams and athletes in both settings.
A native of Prospect Harbor, ME, Jordan received his BS in Applied Exercise Science from Springfield College, Springfield, MA, where also he was a pitcher on the baseball team for four years. He is a Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach with Distinction (RSCC*D), a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (NSCA). Along with his NSCA membership, he is a member of the Colligiate and Professional Sports Dieticians Association (CPSDA), an international member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA) and former longtime member of the Professional Baseball Strength and Conditioning Coaches Society (PBSCCS), where he also served as the NL Minor League Representative and the NL Major League Representative over a 10 year span.
After nearly 20 years working with professional and amateur athletes and organizations in the field of sports science and nutrition, Brian has a new opportunity at NSF International where he works with professional and amateur sports leagues as an educator of dietary supplements and the NSF Certified for Sport® certification program. Brian's diverse background in athletics, sports science and dietary supplements makes for a unique perspective that he conveys in his many speaking engagements.

John Welbourn is CEO of Power Athlete. He is a 9 year starter in the National Football League and NFL veteran. John was drafted with the 97th pick in 1999 NFL Draft and went on to be a starter for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1999-2003, appearing in 3 NFC Championship games, and for the Kansas City Chiefs from 2004-2007. In 2008, he played with the New England Patriots until an injury ended his season early and retiring in 2009. Over the course of his career, John has started over 100 games and has 10 play-off appearances. He was a four year lettermen while playing football at the University of California at Berkeley. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Rhetoric in 1998. John has worked with the MLB, NFL, NHL and other professional and Olympic athletes.
