Jim Kiritsy enters his second season at Kennesaw State after being hired as director of strength and conditioning for football by head coach Brian Bohannon on March, 31, 2014.
In this role, Kiritsy is responsible for developing a comprehensive player development program designed to achieve three primary goals: injury prevention, athletic performance enhancement and mental discipline development.
Prior to arriving at Kennesaw State, Kiritsy served three seasons as associate director for strength and conditioning at The Citadel where his responsibilities included coordinating all aspects of the Bulldogs' men’s basketball and wrestling training programs.
He also was the top assistant in the development of football and oversaw the maintenance and upkeep of the facility, including equipment purchases, while managing and developing graduate assistants, interns and student managers.
While at The Citadel, Kiritsy trained three All-American wrestlers in Odie Delaney (2013), Ugi Khishignyam (2013) and Turtogokh Lusandori (2014), and two football All-Americans in Mike Sellers (2012) and Darien Robinson (2013).
Kiritsy joined The Citadel in June 2011 after spending two seasons at Vermont as the assistant strength and conditioning coach. While with the Catamounts, he worked directly with the men’s basketball, men’s and women’s ice hockey, men’s and women’s lacrosse and the men’s and women’s soccer programs.
A 2009 graduate of Norwich University, Kiritsy received a bachelor’s of science degree in physical education with a concentration in coaching. While there he served as a part-time student assistant strength & conditioning coach. He also was a four-year (2005-08) letterwinner in football, serving as co-captain as a senior, and played baseball for three seasons (2006-08). He served as co-captain as a junior and missed his senior year due to an injury.
Kiritsy is a graduate of the Corp of Cadets from Norwich and served as a member of the Corps Honor Committee in 2008-09. He holds certifications in CPR and AED (automated external defibrillator) from the American Red Cross, and is Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association.
A native of Northbridge, Mass., Kiritsy attended Northbridge High School.

Joey Batson is in his 31st year as a strength & conditioning coach at the collegiate level and 20th year as the director of strength training at Clemson. He has served as a head strength & conditioning coach 27 of his 31 years of service.
Batson was named Master Strength & Conditioning Coach by the Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA) in May of 2009.
During his tenure as the Director of Strength and Conditioning at Clemson, Joey Batson has coached, in football, 40 All-Americans; 129 All-ACC selections; 63 semi-finalists or finalists for national awards; 27 Strength and Conditioning All-Americans; 12 NFL First Round draft picks; 75 NFL draft picks; 14 athletes chosen ACC Player of the Year; 4 Super Bowl Champions; and has helped Clemson to 18 bowl games, 10 Top-25 finishes, 2 ACC Championships, 4 ACC Atlantic Division Championships, and 1 National Championship appearance.
Batson is married to the former Susan Malone of Greenville, SC. The couple has two children, Michael and Benjamin.

Aaron is one of the newest additions to the Sorinex team. He has a long coaching career having most recently served as the head strength coach at USC from 2010-2014. One-time Trojan assistant who then headed up strength and conditioning programs at 4 universities, is in his fourth season as USC's head strength and conditioning coach. He returned to USC in February of 2010. Ausmus, was Tennessee's director of strength and conditioning in 2009, where he oversaw all of the Volunteers' teams. He began his strength and conditioning coaching career at Tennessee, his alma mater, first as a graduate assistant for 2 seasons (1998-1999) and then as a part-time assistant the next season (2000). He then became an assistant at USC for 3 seasons (2001-03), where he worked with the Trojans' 2003 national championship football team, as well as with the men's and women's track, women's soccer and men's golf teams. He spent the next 3 years (2005-07) as the head football strength and conditioning coach at Mississippi, then held a similar position at North Texas in 2008.

Joe Quinlin, MS, SCCC, CSCS, has been the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach since June 2008.
During his time at Northwest, Quinlin has overseen 15 varsity sports and has been a driving force behind the success of Northwest athletics. His passion to improve student-athletes on and off the field is what makes him an instrumental part of the Bearcat family.
A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Quinlin was employed by the City of Maryville as a personal trainer from 2004 to 2008. During this time, he conducted speed and agility camps where he trained area high school and Northwest student-athletes.
A former member of the 1998 and 1999 National Championship football teams, Quinlin earned a degree in corporate recreation and therapeutic wellness from Northwest in 2000. He obtained his master's from West Virginia University before returning to Maryville in 2003.
He lives in Maryville with his wife, Kelly, who is the Head Athletic Trainer, and their children, Derek, Kori and Austyn.
