Jonathan Larson is in his first year as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Performance at Manhattan College. The newly created position will supervise all strength & conditioning elements of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics’ 19 sport offerings.
Larson arrives in Riverdale after working this season as an assistant for the St. Louis Cardinals at their spring training facility in Jupiter, FL. With the Cardinals, he assisted with the programming and training of Major and Minor League athletes during spring training while also serving as the primary strength and conditioning coach of the Class A Advanced Palm Beach Cardinals.
Prior to working for St. Louis, Larson spent a year as a strength & conditioning volunteer assistant at the University of Alabama, working primarily with the softball program while also assisting the football and cheerleading programs.
Larson got his start in collegiate athletics at Army West Point, serving as an exercise science/strength & conditioning intern for the Black Knights.
A 2013 graduate from the Hofstra University with a degree in exercise science and political science, he is currently pursuing his master’s degree in sports sciences & kinesiology and is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association having obtained his CSCS as well as a USAW Level 1 Sports Performance Coach Certification.

Yosef started as an athlete working with Dr Yessis in 1994. That relationship evolved into him being his apprentice for 20 years. He started Ultimate Athlete Concepts in 2003 and Nutromic Sports Nutrition in 2014. Dennis Cordell was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, and is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and the George Mason University School of Law. Dennis began working for the NFL Coaches Association in August 1999, where he served as Assistant Executive Director. In that role he handled all the legal, licensing, database programming and the day-to-day management responsibilities of the NFLCA office. As Staff Counsel for the NFL Players Association from June 2005 through January 2006, Dennis represented various NFL players in fine appeal hearings, dealt with agent regulations and participated in collective bargaining sessions with the Arena Football League on behalf of the AFL Players Association. He left the NFLPA to found Coaches Inc.
