Fred Eaves is currently the Director of Wellness and Athletic Performance at Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, TN. He has 16 years of experience in the field that includes stops at UT-Chattanooga, the University of Tennessee, and Louisiana State University as well as multiple high schools in the state of Tennessee. Eaves was voted the 2013 Samson Equipment and American Football Monthly Central Region High School Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year. Battle Ground Academy’s Athletic Program has had tremendous success in the last year with state championships in men’s basketball, men’s soccer, Final Four appearances from baseball, women’s soccer, and a State Quarterfinal appearance from the football team. Eaves holds degrees from UT-Chattanooga, Tennessee Tech University, Lincoln Memorial University, and the University of Missouri. He currently serves as the Tennessee State Director for the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

Tom Kelso is currently an Exercise Physiologist with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. He was in the collegiate profession for 23 years, serving as the Head Coach for Strength and Conditioning at Saint Louis University (2004-2008), the University of Illinois at Chicago (2001-2004), Southeast Missouri State University (1991-2001) and the University of Florida (1988-1990).
In 2006, he was named Master Strength and Conditioning Coach by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. In 1999, he was named NSCA Ohio Valley Conference Strength and Conditioning Professional of the year. In 2001, he received an honorary certification from the International Association of Resistance Trainers (I.A.R.T.).
He possess C.S.C.S. and S.C.C.C. certifications with the National Strength and Conditioning Association and Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association, respectively. Additionally, he is certified by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board in basic instructor development and as a Specialist Instructor by the Missouri Department of Public Safety. In 2012, he became certified by the IBNFC as a Certified Nutrition Coach.
Coach Kelso has also worked with athletes at the Olympic and professional levels, presented at various clinics/seminars, and worked several athletic-related camps. He is a strong advocate of safe, practical and time-efficient training and have published a collection of periodical articles, book chapters, complete books, and user-friendly downloads promoting such. His five solo projects are, The Interval Training Manual, The Strength Training Workout Encyclopedia, 100 Old School Strength Training Workouts, 25 Kick-Butt Workouts, and 85 Workouts of the Week are one-of-a-kind references for anyone seeking guidelines to improve strength, fitness and lose body fat. He is a weekly news writer and contributor for the popular web site breakingmuscle.com. As well as writes the Mature Athlete Training Program for breakingmuscle.com
He received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Iowa in 1981 and a Master's Degree in Physical Education from Western Illinois University in 1984. He was a member of the Track and Field team at Iowa and served as a Graduate Assistant Track & Field Coach while at Western Illinois.

Scott Swanson is in his 14th year as the Director of Strength and Conditioning at West Point. A 1992 graduate of Wake Forest University, Swanson spent the 1995 and 1996 football campaigns as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Army before departing to serve in the same capacity at Stanford University. He returned one year later in 1998 to take over the Black Knights' head job.
Since his return to the Academy, Army has captured countless league championships and sent numerous teams to postseason competition, while Black Knight athletes have secured a host of All-America certificates since 1998.
Swanson oversees the unique task of training cadet-athletes at West Point. He directs the training of 1,000 athletes, operates three weight rooms and manages five off-site facilities throughout the country during summer assignments.
The Parkersburg, W.Va., native was instrumental in the development of Army's vast strength development center housed in the Kimsey Athletic Center, which opened in April 2003. The Kimsey Athletic Center houses coaches' offices, spacious locker rooms, equipment rooms, an athletic training area, meeting space and an athletic hall of fame area. But perhaps the crown jewel of the building is its 20,000-square-foot strength development center that is under Swanson's direction.
After earning three varsity letters in football at Wake Forest, Swanson moved to the weight room as an undergraduate assistant strength coach. He was promoted to a full-time assistant in 1992 and stayed until 1995, when he left for Army.
From May to August 1994, Swanson was the interim head strength and conditioning coach at his alma mater. Wake Forest had 18 All-Americans during his tenure, the men's basketball squad captured an Atlantic Coast Conference crown and the track team produced national champions in the shot put and discus.
His main duty is overseeing the total strength and conditioning program for Army's 24 intercollegiate sports programs and directly oversees men's basketball and lacrosse.
Swanson is a Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association and was named a Master Strength and Conditioning Coach in 2005. He is also a CGFI, CrossFit Level 1 instructor and member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Swanson resides at West Point with his son, Thor.

Paul Jackson is in his third season as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Mississippi, Jackson's hard work and leadership have helped the Ole Miss program improve each year. With players that are noticeably stronger, faster and better able to run Freeze's tempo offense, the Rebels have achieved back-to-back-to-back bowl appearances and wins in Jackson's first two years with the program.
Jackson came to Oxford after spending 2011 at Southern Miss, where he oversaw the strength and conditioning for the entire USM athletics department with direct responsibility over the football program. His one season In Hattiesburg saw the football team soar to its best record in school history at 12-2, a Conference USA championship and a victory in the Hawaii Bowl.
Jackson arrived in Hattiesburg after serving the 2010 season as the Director of Athletic Conditioning for Football at Miami (Ohio). In his lone season at Miami, Jackson helped lead the Redhawks to the 2010 MAC championship and a victory in the 2011 GoDaddy.Com Bowl, while becoming the only team in NCAA history to go from double-digit losses one year to double-digit wins the next (1-11 in 2009 to 10-4 in 2010).
From 2007-10, Jackson served as an assistant strength coach at LSU, working directly with the Tigers football and volleyball teams. During his time in Baton Rouge, Jackson won an SEC and national championship with the football team as well as three consecutive SEC Western Division and one SEC championship with the volleyball team. While working for the Tigers, Jackson worked under and was mentored by strength and conditioning legend Tommy Moffitt.
A native of White Plains, New York, Jackson got his start in the business as a Professional Intern Strength Coach with the NFL's New York Giants. He also spent time as a Performance Enhancement Specialist at the Parisi Speed School in Garwood, N.J., where the focus is sport-specific speed and agility training as well as combine preparation.
Jackson is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
During his college days at Montclair State (N.J.), Jackson lettered in football, spending time at both fullback and linebacker. He earned a B.S. in physical education in 2006 and later received an M.S. in kinesiology from LSU in 2009.
