Josh Henkin is a certified strength and conditioning specialist with twenty years of experience in the fitness and sports performance industry. He began his sporting career in basketball and was fortunate enough to walk-on to the Arizona State men's basketball team. A severe low back injury would quickly end his pursuit of playing Division I athletics, but gave him the motivation to search for "better ways" to train. While attending ASU, Josh pursued his degree in Exercise Science. Josh participated in many certifications, workshops, and training from some of the top professionals in the industry such as Paul Chek, Charles Poliquin, USA Weightlifting, RKC, Charles Staley, and many more. For ten years, Josh owned and operated Innovative Fitness Solutions in Scottsdale, Arizona. He worked with a wide array of clients from professional athletes to the elderly. In 2005 Josh began the early development of his Dynamic Variable Resistance Training (DVRT) system as well as the creation of the Ultimate Sandbag. After years of working with clients and himself, the DVRT program quickly became a unique form of functional fitness training. So much so, that Josh has become a highly sought after speaker and writer. He has lectured in over ten countries worldwide as well as at some of the top U.S. fitness and performance summits. His work has been seen in everything from Men's Health, the CrossFit Journal, T-Nation, Self Magazine, and many more.

Eric Cressey is the owner of Cressey Performance, a facility with locations in Hudson and Framingham, Massachusetts. A highly sought-after coach for healthy and injured athletes alike, Eric has helped athletes at all levels - from youth sports to the professional and Olympic ranks - achieve their highest levels of performance in a variety of sports. Cressey received his Master's Degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science through the University of Connecticut, where he was involved with varsity strength and conditioning and research in the human performance laboratory. The author of over 200 published articles, Eric has been an invited guest speaker all over the U.S. and abroad. As a competitive powerlifter, Eric holds several state, national, and world records.

Mike is the president of Robertson Training Systems, and the co-owner of Indianapolis Fitness and Sports Training. IFAST was twice named one of Men’s Health magazines Top 10 Gyms in America, as well as a Fitness Award Winner for Women’s Health magazine. Mike received his Masters degree in Sports Biomechanics at Ball State University. While in Grad school Mike worked in the weight room primarily with the football, volleyball and soccer teams, while counseling and coaching individual athletes from all of Ball State's 26 varsity sports. Finally, Mike is an accomplished athlete and coach in the sport of powerlifting, having totaled 1400 pounds in the 198 pound weight class.

Coach Kelly Starrett founded one of the first fifty CrossFit Affiliates, San Francisco CrossFit with his wife and fellow athlete Juliet. Kelly received his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2007 from Samuel Merritt College in Oakland, California. World-Class extreme skiers and X-Games medalists, dancers, military personnel, and competitive age-division athletes from all sports have seen effective rehabilitative results from Kelly's progressive blend of manual therapy and strength training. Kelly's background as an athlete and coach includes paddling whitewater slalom canoe on the US Canoe and Kayak Teams, and leading the Men's Whitewater Rafting Team to two national titles and competition in two World Championships. In his free time Kelly enjoys spending time with his two daughters, Georgia and Caroline, surfing, paddling, Olympic lifting, and dancing.
